Nestled in the jungle mountains, Ubud is the spiritual heart of Bali. Considered close to heaven, you will feel as though that’s where you have arrived as you drive past the famous rice paddies of Bali and see locals working the fields in truly picture worthy scenes.

Cycle thru Ricefields

Cycle thru Ricefields

After a delicious breakfast set off on a romantic excursion through the ricefields by bike. Cycling is the best way to see Bali, the breeze on the bike is blissful as you cruise through jungle and rice field tracks surrounded by scents and sights that will have your whole body singing. Stop by small villages where you can enjoy the sweet flavours of local markets.

When you return, spend the afternoon at your leisure. Take a walk through the Sacred Monkey Forest to see ancient trees and observe the long-tailed Ubud monkeys, or perhaps visit one of the museums, see a traditional Balinese dance or try one of the many mouth-watering restaurants. Of course, you can also stretch out by the pool and breath in the air and the scent of incense and relax together.

Ceremony in honour of your wedding

Today you will attend a special ceremony in honour of your spiritual bond together. Travel to the quiet village of Mengwi where you will be given a chance to dress in beautiful traditional Balinese clothes and be blessed by a Hindu priest. This a truly magical and romantic occasion with a photographer on hand to capture every moment. The blessing is followed by a traditional feast of local cuisine. Upon leaving you will be given a CD of your photos to treasure forever.

Return to your Ubud accommodation.

Considered one of the most important spiritual structures in Bali, this Pura is nestled in the foothills of Mount Agung, Bali’s most respected and revered volcano. Make sure you have a good window seat as your driver enters the Sidemen, one of the most beautiful countryside regions in Bali. Check into the hotel for a well-earned rest and to look over the incredible photos of your drive.
